Platinum Camp Productions was founded in 2005 by CEO and President, Daddy Bigg$, along with Vice President, Miss Joan. It was at this time when two up and coming rappers, J BlaX and Xyle were discovered by Bigg$ and were promptly signed to PCP Management. Their first single entitled, “How We Rolling” was released in 2007 as a collaborative effort with Reggae artist, Sanchez. Their success was instant and they quickly debuted in the Top Ten on the UK Hip Hop charts. The success of Platinum Camp Productions blazed on, leaving a trail of success to light the way. In early 2007 Bigg$ would meet with and sign legendary Reggae superstar, Barrington Levy to a management deal.
Platinum Camp signed a lucrative distribution deal with Universal Music Group and Ingrooves Distribution in 2010. PCP currently has a major motion picture in the works entitled, “Gangstas” to be released in 2011 and is headed by producer, Mike Jers of Augustus Films.
The Platinum Camp artist roster currently includes Barrington Levy, Bunny Wailer, HomeGrown, J-BlaX and actor Louie Rankin aka Ox. The collaborations continue on with the hottest names in the industry, including Snoop Dogg, Wyclef Jean, and Rohan Marley.
